Hello! My name is George, a 36 year old photographer from a lovely little city called Lincoln in the East Midlands.
I've had a love affair with professional wrestling since I was a little kid. My Grandad would show me vhs tapes with recordings of the classic World of Sport wrestling, I then became enamoured with Sting in WCW before the big boom period of the Monday Night Wars and the magic of WWF's Attitude era. As a fan, I've probably attended hundreds of shows at this point, I've been to a WrestleMania, an All In and a New Japan show amongst many independents like Progress and Rev Pro.
At these shows I would sometimes take photos with my phone camera, as one does, just to share with friends on social media. I would get encouraged by the wrestlers themselves at how much they liked the pictures, it dawned on me that maybe this was the thing I was actually half decent at!
So Post-Covid (2023-present) I bought myself a little Sony RX100 and began to shoot wrestling shows from my perspective in the crowd. I've managed to gain a fair bit of traction in the past few years, collaborated on Instagram with some of the biggest stars and promotions, all from just my seat.
Whilst I will continue to keep on shooting shows I'm at from my vantage point, I wanted to build a little pocket of the internet with where I could advertise my abilities and potentially get a booking or two! I currently carry a Sony A6700 which is perfect for stunning quality photos.
